Usher Building & Design was founded in 2006 in Colorado. Joel, the owner, has extensive experience in custom home construction and remodeling. Now in Sacramento, CA, Usher Building & Design has gained a reputation for the highest quality work and top-notch customer service.

Andrew Davidson
In-House Draftsman
Andrew does all of UBD measuring to make the building plans to submit for permits and to help with floor plan layouts.
Matt Taylor
Former Project Manager
Matt is the former project manager at UBD, he was with the company for 4.5 years and has since moved on to start his own business. We still have Matt registered as one of our trusted sub contractors. Matt is an expert at interior remodel, and structural building.
Max Semenyuk
Max is one of our up-and-coming apprentices. He is a fast learner, and a hard worker. We are happy to have him as a part of the team. Max is trustworthy and polite.

Joel Usher
Joel has over 19 years experience in custom home building and interior remodeling. Joel has built scores of custom homes in his home town in Colorado, and has solely been building interior kitchens and bathrooms in Sacramento for the last 7 years.
